Live Events Are Back!

Over the summer we were FINALLY back on site putting together our first live events in 18 months and boy did it feel good!

As the UK has slowly opened back up, we have found that a lot of our client’s main focus for their first face-to-face events has been to bring their teams back together for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

Employee engagement, motivation and performance is highly influenced by a businesses’ sense of community and communication, so we’re so happy that we can finally bring teams back together again to catch up and have some fun. Here's the details of the first event we executed this summer!

The Goal

Our automotive client wanted to host a relaxed and informal BBQ with one main goal - to welcome back employees, so they could reconnect with internal staff.

Location

The event was hosted at the newly refurbished Kingfisher Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Milton Keynes. This venue ticked all the boxes - it was easy to access for the guests, it boasted beautiful views and luscious grounds - perfect for a summer BBQ - but it also had ample indoor space for taking their corporate photos and if the weather didn’t play ball (luckily it was glorious)!

The Main Event

Guests were greeted at midday with an array of summery mocktails, an impressive magician and a welcome speech from the MD before tucking into a delicious spread of barbecued meats, salads and pud. The BBQ was cooked and served in the pretty pergola and guests helped themselves.

Once everyone’s food had gone down, it was time for the magician’s immersive showstopper and garden games. From giant jenga and buzzers to the football table, the games drew in the crowds and fuelled competition amongst the employees.

The Little Touches and Feedback

As the day wound down, each guest was given a gift as a thank you for attending - each branded tote bag held a branded Chilly’s water bottle, hand sanitiser, mask and a thank you note.

Getting together is such a novelty these days and it was amazing to see team members coming back together and having fun in a beautiful location. Here’s to many more!
